Book Nerd Pages

Hi everyone! Today I’ve been working on a layout which is all about how I’ve been embracing my inner book nerd recently. I thought it would be a great chance to use my My Therapy digital stamps from Kellie Stamps and I’m really pleased with how it turned out!

1. Photos
For photos I used some I’d taken myself and others I’d found on Google Images. I often do this when I need more photographs to tell my story, either that or ‘retrace my steps’ (take photographs weeks later but in the same place or with the same items). I even stumbled across a funny little piece of artwork for A Very Potter Musical which I decided to include as well as it made me smile.

2. Cards
I used a set of digital cards from Studio Calico’s Printables section called Magic. They have all the right Potter elements and even a book review card which I was able to type my journaling onto before printing. On the blank journaling cards, I used the My Therapy digital stamps from Kellie Stamps (they also come in clear).

3. Embellishments
I kept the embellishments to a minimum as I thought the pages were already quite busy. The ‘Adventure Awaits’ wooden piece is from Shop Evalicious and the hashtag one is from a Studio Calico Project Life/Documenter kit.
